In the beginning...

Hey Dad, As we drove to church this Sunday, you told me about the time that your parents bought you a car (and then proceeded to tell you what the monthly payments would be). Funny story.  Feel free to say "no, not-a-chance, don't hold your breath"--but I know that there are a number of us anxious to hear more of your life stories. Now, while I think writing one's personal history seems daunting, I did a little looking around on the internet and found a number of writing prompts.  What if in 2015, you simply took one of those prompts each week and took a shot at answering it?  Later, you could choose your best ones and weave them into some kind of life narrative--publish it, become famous.  Or, you could record some of those answers/stories here on this blog and then give permission for family members to read them as you churn them out.
